Race Team
“Rae Havoc” Faba, Team Captain, is a multi-disciplinary cyclist with specialties in long haul mountain bike and fixed gear. She founded this team to spread the stoke.
Hardtails never die, no brakes no problem, when all else fails, play dead!
“Lumpy Space Jeff” Radecky rides fixed gear because he hates brakes. Jeff believes in the Force and the second law of thermodynamics. If asked his age, he will tell you he’s 8. His racing age is 45.
Molly Aubuchon is the co-owner of our sponsor Kent Cycle where she works endlessly for the local cycling community. Her not-bicycle hobbies include timed ruck hiking, kayaking and cooking. She is a vegan iron chef.
Sherlyn “Shez” Paterson is Rae’s first bicycle friend and we are thrilled to have her back on our team for 2023. Shez has some deadly timetrial skills and the kind of self confidence it takes to wear a skinsuit most of the time.
Duncan “Donuts” Oliver is our Assistant Captain this year. He has an extensive resume including pro team management, elite racing and a list of tech jobs too long to place here. Mostly we like to tell people we met him on the internet. Despite his penchant for wearing a bunny suit while riding, he hates our team kit designs.
Tess Oliver is pretty much the coolest thing since sliced bread. Rae’s been all up in her laser cannons to get out on the trails with us. Onward to adventure, Tess! We can do it!!
Matthew “Mau” Eddy is racing his first season with us in 2023. He’s fast, he’s funny and he gives Dunk something to look forward every morning. We’re not sure what’s up with the Mulllet tho.
Rissa Hawkins is getting pretty good at this thing. We’re thrilled she likes hanging out with us and are excited to see what she will accomplish this year.
“Ron T” Tomallo has ridden bikes all over the country. He’s been known to compete in marathon running and kayak races too. He is a multi-instrumental musician and raced sprint cars & motocross in his younger years. If you’re looking for him and can’t find him, he’s probably out fishing!
Brian Stakes, has competed in endurance sports since he was about 10 years old. He started by running cross country and track in middle school and continued running through high school. He rowed on his collegiate crew team, and started cycling after college. He has 4 kids and an amazing wife. He is most likely writing software, spending time with his family, or riding a bike.
“FrantzyPants” Craig Frantz is a National AMA championship motorcyclist, MTB enthusiast and sometimes road biker. In his professional life, he likes to pretend he is an accountant, but we all know he can’t do math. Despite his shortcomings, which are many, he remains Rachelle’s favourite.
Martin Russ won most of his races in his first season and we’re glad to see him back. He’s been a distance athlete since high school, running cross country and track at 14 and continued to compete through college. We can’t blame him for saying he got burnt out on running and wanted to dip his toes into the world of cycling. This will be his third season on a hard tail. He’s pictured here with his very enthusiastic mini-me!
Andy “Rollin'” Nolen plays with drums and fixed gear bikes. A USMC veteran, he is also a hair stylist. Yes, we also find that slightly odd.
Juniors
Quinn “Darth Q” Farkas is our promising young Skills Ninja from Cuyahoga Falls, OH. Being in the woods is her passion, but she’s also getting a real kick out of road cycling. Her enthusiasm and dedication impressed us all these past 2 years and we’re proud to welcome her back in 2023. One more year in juniors racing, kiddo!
Connor “C-Note” Talbott III is our junior from Tennessee! His parents are reluctant high-dollar patrons of their LBS.
Support Team
Rachelle Schmidt coaches our kids, drives our RV and sometimes even rolls us up a sticky. She’s kind of like a team mum, if your mum was a total badass.
Allen Cooper is a full-time member of K&G Racing with specialties in cyclocross and gravel. He’s a cx race director and can be found supporting other cyclocross races at registration, course building, and repair. Allen’s a board member of the Cap City Collective and Ohio Cycling Association. You’ll find him helping out at Cap City Cyclocross practice every week. His ultimate goal is to race The Adirondack Trail Ride, a 570 mile mixed surface race in the Adirondack Mountains in New York.
