This past Sunday saw the opening race for the new Northern Ohio Mountain Bike Series! Hosted by the fine folks at Vulture’s Knob MTB Trail and well attended by your favourite anarchist mountainbike squad! Dicey late spring weather saw a rain delay, but the day turned out to be beautiful. Trail conditions ranged from “slippy puddle” to “peanutbutter mud.” Mandalorians did 2 or 3 laps depending on category (or in Rae’s case, depending on how broken the bike was) & finished covered in mud and all smiles.
Results were as follows:
Duncan 3rd: Mens 35+ Sport
Rae 3rd: Womens 35+ Sport
Martin 1st: Mens Novice Open!
Dave: Dead after Mens Novice Open
Mao: All smiles after his FIRST MTB RACE EVER!
